CBCAC

Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community also known as CBCAC. CBCAC was first formed in 1998 and was known as CBC back then. It was formed by 5 organizations consisting of Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, CASL, Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, Chinese Christian Union Church, and Pui Tak Center. The CBCAC accomplished and pushed for many things such as motiviating or pushing the community to gain more political rights. Then, in 2007, the CBCAC expanded to 8 organzations.

CMAP

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) was created in 2005. The CMAP is led by Gerald Bennett who is also the mayor of Polas Hills. The CMAP oversees the population growth of northeastern Illinois counties. It also help resolve problems such as transportation and housing.
