In May of 2016, the Chinatown Vision Plan made its debut at the Pui Tak Community Center. The Vision Plan was led by Alderman Danny Solis, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and the Coalition for a Better Chinese American City (CBCAC). The Chinatown Vision Plan concerns the new future of Chinatown. The plan may take a long time in order for it to flourish and take effect. However, the result is beneficial to to Chinatown community and economy.
